MEATSPACE was founded by Hemanth Kamitikar, bringing together generational domain knowledge and structured product engineering.
Hemanth grew up immersed in the daily rhythm of fresh meat commerce, drawing from over 30 years of family experience in neighborhood meat retail. Having spent years observing counter interactions firsthand, he developed an intimate understanding of merchant margins, morning mandi auctions, seasonal demand shifts, and the accounting friction small vendors navigate every day.
To solve these systemic challenges, Hemanth pursued professional qualifications, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Product Design & Management from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT Bangalore) alongside an MBA in Finance. He further strengthened his technical foundation as a Research Associate working on the Modular Open Source Identity Platform (MOSIP), gaining expertise in architecting large-scale, population-level digital solutions.

As a visually impaired founder, Hemanth brought a unique, practical perspective to software development.
